Mr. Gulf Coast Bear 2004

Like I said, the local bear club had pissed me off by bitching about the FREE donated pictures I had been giving them because the men weren't the stereotype of a bear... (so I draw muscle bears)... anyway... in 2004 my boss asked me if I would please draw something for the bear contest held in August (theme- Fire bears) My boss is great and he is really good to me, so I couldn't tell him no.

I, like always, procrastinated. I was in New Orleans with a couple of people and I drew this the night before I left New Orleans (which was also the night before it was needed)

I just changed Ashe's arms and clothes... made him smile and there you go, Ashe again modeling for the bear club... I wish now that I had made his side (on the left in the picture) a little bigger or moved the hose a little... it just feels kinda off)

The drawing was auctioned off and the money was donated to the S.A.C. (South Alabama Cares-- formerly M.A.S.S.... Mobile AIDS Support Services)
